Cotton Picking Machine Operator Ended Didim

Cotton Picking Machine Operator Training Course' organized by Didim Food, Agriculture and Livestock District Directorate, Didim Agriculture Chamber and Didim Public Training Center concluded.

The 'Cotton Picking Machine Operator Training Course' which was organized between 09-26 January 2012 in Akyeniköy municipality of Didim with the collaboration of Provincial Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Aydın, Didim Public Training Center and Didim Chamber of Agriculture ended with the participation of 18 trainees. Vocational Abdulkadir Sagioglu, Director of Crop Production and Plant Health Branch of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Provincial Directorate, course instructors engineer Sahin Poyraz, engineer Peace Taşçı and engineer Sedat Ergüldürren attended the written and practical examination held on January 26th. Successful trainees at the end of the exam are entitled to receive an Operator's Certificate.

Food Agriculture and Livestock Aydin Provincial Directorate and Nazilli Public Education Center Directorate decided to organize a second Cotton Picking Machine Operator Training Course at Nazilli Cotton Research Station between 06-23 February 2012 upon intense demand from farmers.

Bahattin Gökdemir, Chairman of Didyma Chamber of Agriculture, stated that the course is very useful for cotton producers. 'It is important for us to start the course in our district in 2012. Cotton which is a planting area of ​​35 thousand decares is indispensable agricultural products for Didim. We are ready to give any kind of contribution to such courses which are given by the experts of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Provincial Directorate, 'he said.
